Habitat For Humanity Build
The Georgia Chapter of NAHI has partnered with the Smyrna-Cobb Habitat Coalition for a half-day participation of a home in the framing and roofing stage of construction. You will learn a lot and experience the joy of being a part of this project.
Wear gloves. All tools and gear will be provided but if you want to bring your own hammer, goggles, etc, make sure they are labeled with your name.
Refreshments will be served.

DIRECTIONS:
(The build site is in Marietta, near the intersection of Austell Rd and South Cobb Drive. Parking will be off-site at a nearby church, as explained below)
FROM I-285:
- Take the South Cobb Drive exit (Exit #15) toward Smyrna (outside of the perimeter).
- Travel 7.4 miles on South Cobb Drive and turn LEFT into the parking lot of the Central Baptist Church, 1502 South Cobb Drive.
FOLLOW THESE WALKING DIRECTIONS TO THE BUILD SITE:
- From the rear of the parking lot, which is at the corner of Barber Rd and Crider Rd, WALK ON BARBER RD WAY FROM THE DIRECTION OF THE CHURCH.
- Cut through the parking lot that has a laundromat and other small businesses, over to Knox Drive, and turn left on Knox Drive. Total walking distance is less than 1/4 mile

(IF YOU CONTINUE TO DRIVE TO THE BUILD SITE, THESE ARE THE DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM THE CHURCH):
- Continue 0.1 miles on South Cobb Drive and turn LEFT onto Austell Rd
- Drive 0.3 miles on Austell Rd and turn LEFT onto Knox Drive.
- Go about 0.1 miles. The build site will be on the right-hand side.
